Looking back at 10 days ago, my wife was merely a new mother that neither know how nor dare to hold a new born baby. I still remember that she was a bit hesitated to hold our little boy when the nurse sent him to her shortly after her delivery. However, she had made her best effort to learn from those mothers who stayed in the same ward with her subsequently and started her duty as a caring mother very soon.
Over the last whole week obviously she had learned more and managed to take care of our little baby alone while i was working. Frankly speaking, she was the one who spend most of the time with our little boy since i always leave while he still in sweet dream and reach home when he starts his sweet dream again. As a result, my wife takes up most of the duty to feed him, changing diaper and pampering him whenever he cries simply because she know that i am tiring with the messy office paperworks.
Over the last 9 months i saw huge change over in her life started with the tiring pregnancy then came the pain of cesarean and now the tiring duty to take care of our little baby. This Raya i had decided to stay at home just to spend more time with my little love one and sharing the tiring duty with my wife.

I shoot these photos after we came back from my baby’s 1st check-up at the polyclinic on the 5th day. The little feet look so small and cute when we put him on the big sofa to take a nap as we reached home. I quickly grabbed my camera to take a few shots of it before i forget.
Hopefully someday these little feet will create the footprints that lead him to his own successful life.

Time flies, my little baby boy is one week old now. His first night back to our sweet home was a horrible night for us as he was crying whole night long for my wife to pamper him. Luckily he is getting used to our home and sleep well in the consecutive nights.
Looking my little boy growing everyday, how I wish that i can have a long holiday just to accompany my wife to go through the whole process. I still remember how he pee on me while my mother was changing his napkin on his second day at home. Unfortunately it just happened out of sudden so i did not manage to capture that moment of time otherwise it gonna be fun when i show to him in the future.
Anywhere, i try to capture every single details of my baby’s life so that when he grew up later he can has handful of sweet memories. :-)
The 1st and 2nd photos were taken when he had his first herbal bath at home.

10th September 2009 was a special day for me and my wife. The delivery of our little baby boy started a whole new chapter in our life. It was a great feeling that beyond words when i first holding my son close to me after the nurse sent him to us. It is a joy to see him smile in his sweet dream. Well, it is really a whole new experience that i can’t imagine or expect before my baby reached me. Can’t believe that i am a father now.
Little boy, daddy is going to fetch you back to our sweet home this afternoon.

Just a short update. My wife finally admitted to Sarawak General Hospital at 5pm just now after we waited since 10am this morning. The naughty baby boy confirmed still in the breech position so cesarean delivery is scheduled on this coming thursday.
I left the hospital at 7pm just now as visitor is not allowed to stay after the visiting hour due to the wide spread influenza H1N1 so my wife is spending her 1st night at hospital alone.
Well, it is a weird feeling to drive home alone without she chatting with me throughout the journey home……

Yesterday evening my wife and I went to Bella Italia at RH Plaza to have her favorite thin crust pizza before she start her one month long confinement on next week.
As usual I ordered 1 large pizza as the portion is just nice for two of us. To my surprise my wife requested to add one more large pizza in our order. I thought that she was joking so I just proceeded to order for one pizza and told her that we would order later if necessary.
After we finished half of the pizza then only I realized that she was not joking as I saw her was so enjoying the tasty cheesy pizza. Then she requested to add one more large pizza again and this time I was so sure that with only one large pizza it is definitely not enough for two of us anymore.
At the end of the dinner, my wife alone actually finished one and a quarter of the two large pizzas. :-O

As mentioned earlier, I spent whole wednesday morning in hospital waiting for my wife to go through the ECV. However the procedure was called off haftway due to her irregular heat beat problem. She was then being refered to the cardilogy specialist for further medical check-up in the afternoon. After trapped in hospital for almost one whole day, the doctor made an appointment for her to be admitted to the hospital on next week and most probably will go through cesarean delivery if the baby still in breech position.
Our general hospital are really so crowded that i saw so many patients went in and out from the operation theater while i wait for my wife outside the day care ward next door. My wife met a young native pregnant lady from Sri Aman who came here alone for the ECV procedure as well. Just imagine that she need to travel for almost 200km just to reach such medical services and then waited at the hospital untill that evening for her transport to pick her back to Sri Aman again. We felt sympathy for a pregnant lady to travel such long and tiring journey alone but i guessed that might be due to financial difficulty that refrain her relative from accompanying her. Luckily the doctor was kind enough to ask the nurse to show this lady the way to canteen and let her to wait inside the ward as the weather outside were so hot and humid.
It was a tiring day for me at the hospital but at least i saw the kindness of the medical staffs that really care for the patients despite of the heavy workload they face everyday. I think our monister shall learn from those medical staffs rather than giving non-constructive comments and put the blame on other people.

My wife just called me from the polyclinic telling me that doctor had confirmed the baby is still in the bottom-first position which means this is a breech baby.
The doctor is arranging for her to be admitted to the hospital on tomorrow morning for the specialist to try to turn the baby from breech position to vertex (head-down) position. I have no idea how the whole process is about and how risky is it. Hopefully everything will be fine.
