Jerome was suffered from serious viral infection for the last two weeks starting with fever then followed by ulcers in his mouth and blisters on both hands and feet. This little boy experience extreme discomfort on the 1st 2 days as he was crying almost every half an hour during the night. Luckily after visited 2 doctors consecutively his condition getting better but the rashes and blister are still visible until now as it is disappearing slowly.

These photos were taken a week after Jerome had his hair all shave for the very first time since he was born. At the age of 10 months, he look like a little boy more than a baby with his bald head. I just love to touch his bald head and call him “botak” even though this little boy obviously dislike anyone to touch his bald head or call him “botak” .

but you just can’t shut your ear when you don’t want to listen.

Took this shot during the recent Chinese New Year while Jerome was taking a short nap at my parent-in-law’s house. The simple floral motif bed sheet gave a backdrop that just nice for this sweet dream shot.

My little boy just love to slip his feet out from the gaps of his wooden cot whenever he is inside the cot. It is funny to see such little feet protruding from the gaps and kicking non-stop when he is awake.

May be he is hinting us to get him a new cot soon.

Jerome was 5 months old during the last Chinese New Year.  Obviously he was having a great time during the 10 days holiday we spent together. So many new things and experiences for him throughout the holiday. I believe the happiest thing for him was to taste all the cakes, cookies and even the fish cracker during the visiting .

At the age of 3 months, Jerome starts to make lots of funny expression and sound whenever we play with him. He loves to stare at his cousins see them playing around. May be this little boy is just can’t wait to join them for the fun time.

I love this naughty face

It was an early sunday morning with the diffused warm sunlight gently penetrating into the bedroom through the sliding door. Little Jerome woke up early to get his cloth changed then laying in his baby cot starring at the clear blue sky outside.

I saw calmness in his eye with the peaceful sight looking forward. For me that is something which is diminishing from most of us as we grow up. Take a breath and recall when was the last time that you found calmness and peacefulness in you eyes as you wake up.

My little Jerome just backed from his 3^rd vaccination at the clinic. He is now 5.35kg and 60cm tall compared to the 2.99kg when he was born. Looking back the day he was born, he was so little that we have to search for the smallest shirt, glove, sock and cap for him but now we have to look for bigger size for him already. It is a joy to see him growing each day but it is a pain also to feel that we are getting older each and everyday. Now i realised the greatest thing in life is just so simple, to spend the precious time with the one you love.

Last weekend i suddenly realised that it was 13 years already since my first attempt to shoot the baby portrait for my neighbour’s granddaughter. Time flies, that little baby girl is now in the secondary school already.

Frankly speaking, i did not managed to spend much time with my little baby boy over the last few weeks as i was rushing for the wedding assignments’ post-processing job and many other matters that tied up my time. Only last weekend i managed to spare my whole weekend for my little boy, capturing some of his photos just to show how he look different from a few weeks back. He is growing and learning at a much faster pace than i can imagine so i think i better catch up with him before another 13 years slip away
