Saw this tiny frog inside my toilet bowl last Sunday. It was so small that just only about the size of my finger tip. I have no idea how it found it’s way into the bowl but i guessed it might mistakenly thought that it is a huge pond
I just let it stay there thinking that it might find it’s way back to where it suppose to live in short time.
Finally, It left.

Met this Big-Eye in my bathroom during the recent holiday break. It was the first close interaction with the Big-Eye since it always disappear from my view in split seconds whenever it see me. Obviously this Big-Eye was injured and unable to runway from me as it lost it’s tail.
Since i was stuck at home for few days taking care of my sick little boy so I took out my macro lens and fired a few shots just to let my mind take a break.

Chrysanthemum is a very common flower that easily found on the market as Chinese are fond of using this little flower as offering on the alters. These flower is so common that many people would not bother to have a closer look on them. In fact, this little flower is just attractive like other flower if you spend a few seconds look into its little petals.
Beautiful thing is everywhere. Spend a few minutes look around then you will discover the beautiful thing that may cheer up your day.

Lots of Chinese believe that this potted plant is the FengShui plant which can bring good luck and prosperity to their family whenever the plant blooming. I have no idea how true is the believe but i was glad to see this plant bloomed about a month ago after i replaced a larger pot for it.

This potter plant started to bloom during the recent Chinese New Year but I only managed to capture it few days ago. Since it was quite late in the evening so I just mounted my flash and used the red fencing wall as the backdrop to create these simple shots. Many photographers will be very particular on the lighting set-up just to create a perfect shot but that is not my cup of tea because all I want is to capture something simple that close to what I see.

Shot these photos about 2 weeks ago when i fetched my parent to my sister’s house. As usual, i brought my gears and hunted for the flowers and bee at the backyard. I enjoyed my time shooting around the backyard there because i hardly found any friendly bee at my backyard. May be i need to do more gardening just to fill up my backyard with more plant and flowers to attract this tiny insect.
These few shots were captured using the RAW file format and i subsequently converted them into black and white. For me, black & white is always the best way to produce pleasing image that i like.

Cant remember when was my last time picked up my camera to do close up shot with insect already since i moved into my new home. Just wish that i could have more time to dating with the little insect.

Saw this building at the Indian street recently. This time it is not the facade that attracted me but the green leafy plants that grow on it’s facade. These plants survive in the harsh condition which is not only exposed to strong wind and heavily rain but the extreme hot weather lately. I am truly amazed and impressed by these plant ’s ability to sustain the extreme burning heat from the brickwall surface under the sunlight.

This is another series of my favorite shots. Even though i don’t have any macro lens but i do enjoy shooting little insect simply with the close-up filter attached. Bee is one of my favorite subject as it is really challenging due to its small size and the extreme speed together with the minimum depth of field from the close up filter.
I love the 1st and 2nd images the most. I observed under the tree for some moment and decided to capture the images of the bee flying toward the flower from a lower angle. I did a few test shots to figure out the require exposure then i just waited patiently for it to come. As usual, it was only a split of seconds for me to capture these shots. The images created a feel that the viewer was observing in their small world. I love the outcome.
